Fredrika Brillembourg has built a distinguished reputation in many operatic roles including Carmen, Marguerite, Brangaene, Charlotte, and Octavian as well as Jitsuko Honda in Toshio Hosokawa's Hanjo. In Amsterdam, Geneva, Lyon, Venice, Brussels, Aix-en- Provence, New York City (NYCO and BAM), Seattle, Lisbon and Athens (Megaron) she has sung with Antonio Pappano, Sir Jeffrey Tate, Daniel Harding, Kent Nagano, Armin Jordan and Kazushi Ono among others; in concert with Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Mahler Chamber Orchestra and Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and on CD/ DVD, Verdi's Messa da Requiem (Placido Domingo, conducter) and Suzuki in Puccini's Madama Butterfly (Naxos).
