Winner of both the Kurt Huebner Prize and Bremen Volksbuehne Prize, her roles included: CARMEN, CHARLOTTE, OCTAVIAN, KOMPONIST and ORPHEE. Now as guest artist, roles performed include Meg Page FALSTAFF (Théâtre Royal de La Monnaie, Semperoper), Marguerite LA DAMNATION DE FAUST (Frankfurt, Brussels) the Komponist ARIADNE AUF NAXOS (Deutsche Oper am Rhein); Bianca FLORENTINISCHES TRAGÖDIE (Grand Théâtre de Genève and Teatro São Carlos); Juno/Ino SEMELE (Basel); Jitsuko Honda HANJO (Aix-en-Provence Festival, Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie, Teatro São Carlos); Mescalina LE GRAND MACABRE (Komische Oper Berlin); Margret WOZZECK (Mahler Chamber Orchestra, the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra). Gymnasiast LULU (Alexandra Trianti Hall, Megaron Theater). In DIE WALKÜRE she has sung Grimgerde (Seattle Opera) and Rossweisse (Teatro la Fenice) and appeared as Megaera/Arete LYSISTRATA (New York City Opera). Conductors she has appeared with include Antonio Pappano, Jeffrey Tate, Daniel Harding, Placido Domingo, Kent Nagano, Kazushi Ono, Philippe Auguin, Mark Albrecht, Sakari Oramo, Armin Jordan, George Manahan and Helmuth Rilling. Orchestras include: City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra; Bavarian State Orchestra; Museumsorchester Frankfurt; Toronto Symphony Orchestra; Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra; Minnesota Orchestra; Berliner Symfoniker; Orquestra Sinfonica Venezuela; Youth Orchestra of the Americas. She has recorded Suzuki (MADAMA BUTTERFLY) for Naxos. Recently she sang the BACH MATTHÄUS-PASSION in São Paolo under Kent Nagano and the VERDI MESSA DA REQUIEM in Munich under Placido Domingo, recorded for CD/DVD. She returned once more to Portugal for REQUIEM PELAS VITIMAS DO FASCISMO EM PORTUGAL, a first performance of the work by Fernando Lopes-Graça and has just finished performances of Magdalene DIE MEISTERSINGER (Grand Théâtre de Genève). Most recently she appeared as Martuccia in Schrecker's DIE GEZEICHNETEN (De Nederlandse Opera) and once again in the final performances of the Bremen production in the title role of CARMEN. She returned to Bremen for Ligeti's GRAND MACABRE and an important role debut as Brangene TRISTAN UND ISOLDE. Future plans include Jitsuko Honda HANJO (Opéra National de Lyon). She will appear with L'Orchestra National de Lyon to sing Prokofiev EXTRAITS DE LA MUSIQUE DE FILM POUR ALEXANDRE NEVSKI D'EISENSTEIN and with the Europa Chor Akademie for the JOHANNESPASSION. She will sing her first Eboli DON CARLO and return to De Nederlandse Opera for I PURITANI and LA TRAVIATA.
