Born in Hungary and based in Ireland, he trained at the National Opera Studio in London and was a Young Associate Artist with the Opera Theatre Company in Dublin. Winner of many awards and prizes he also worked with Welsh National Opera and Scottish Opera and with Irish Youth Opera. He joined the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme at ROH Covent Garden where he performed and covered many roles with the company. He has gone on to make his debut with the Komische Oper in Berlin as the Gypsy The Fair at Sorochyntsi, appeared in the title role of Il Ritorno d'Ulisse in Patria for Opera Collective Ireland and was invited back to ROH Covent Garden for Schaunard La Boheme. Recently he returned to the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme for their summer concert to sing excerpts of Rodrique Don Carlos and Ford Falstaff and he made his role debut as Escamillo Carmen for Opera North. Most recently he appeared as Sharpless Madama Butterfly for ROH Covent Garden, in the title role of William Tell for Irish National Opera and future engagements include Urok Manru for Opéra National de Lorraine and Valentin Faust for Irish National Opera.
