Reviews:

The first real premiere after the pandemic. Hubicka from Otrava makes us happy for several reasons - Ostravan.cz
The young soprano Lucia Kanková, who has excellent preconditions for key lirico-spinto roles, succeeded with her charming acting and singing. As Barce she managed to draw attention to herself non-violently, her moves were good and with the aria Hlásej, ptácku she captured the audience that applauded enthusiastically. She shows great promise for the future.

The young soprano Lucie Kaňková took on the role of Barče with all her sincerity of the expression of a pleasant singing speech and stage charm, she represented a pleasant apotheosis of youth on stage… the famous Skřivánčí song, wonderfully performed by a soprano…

Le Nozze di Figaro of the Silesian Theater convinced that it was a successful audience hit - Ostravan.cz
A nice surprise was the performance of the guest Lucie Kanková. I personally was fascinated by her rarely cultivated voice with a sensitive depiction of all the nuances, lightness and flexibility. She sings without unnecessary singing manners but with a concise sense for expressive shading of the part. Kanková was also excellent in terms of acting and movement. With regard to her youth, it must be stated that in this soprano grows up a strong singing personality of the contemporary opera scene.

Monteverdi's Coronation Poppea in Pilsen confirmed that the Baroque style of music resonates with today’s audience
Lucie Kanková profiles as a very promising coloratura singer and she has experience with the baroque repertoire. She sang her part with confidence in its entirety in a voice of pleasant color. She was an impressive Poppe in every way. …
Operaplus.cz - GABRIELA ŠPALKOVÁ,- 18th August 2020

Monteverdi's Coronation of Poppea as the second premiere of the new opera season
Poppea was sung by soprano Lucie Kanková at the premiere. She attracts attention with a sonorous, resonantly concentrated expression in all vocal positions. The strength of her interpretation lies in the consistent phrasing and thoughtful division of musical phrases, certainly as a result of her collaboration with the conductor during rehearsals.”

"...Magically, in subtle shades of dynamics, the conductor let the final duet, the only one in Monteverdi's work, resound and impressively resonate. Both soloists engaged in this dialogue dynamically and excellently. With the stage effect of a quasi open fire, this dialogue was indeed wonderful. Very effective "highlight" of a successful production. Bravo!"

The Olomouc Baroque Festival Opens with a Modern Premiere
“Also Lucie Kanková in the roles of Time and Fortune managed the demanding coloratura with honour and her aria complaining of the fate of fortune was among the most touching.“
Musicfriendlycity.cz - Lukáš Pavlica – 10th July 2019

Radiant soloists open the new year
The soprano Lucie Kanková and the tenor Juraj Nociar, who jumped in at short notice, shone in arias and duets. Dein ist mein ganzes Herz struck the audience under the spell of the tenor just as the soprano took the audience's breath away with Meine Lippen, sie küssen so heiß.

EASTER FESTIVAL: Academic choir and HSLU wind instruments provided pre-Easter sounds
Soprano voice illuminates the deep darkness
The wonderfully intimate Dona nobis pacem was followed by the fourth fanfare, Karfreitagsprozession. Timpani, used here as a melody instrument, and the tuba began hauntingly with a repetitive theme, followed by the deep winds until the voice of the soprano Lucie Kanková lit up the deep darkness. She sang the passion story in large melodies and in French; towards the end the choir began quietly, as if from a distance, interwoven with the solo voice and winds, and the work ended in a radiant major. Easter seemed very near.”
